EXPERIENCE HAS MADE JAROM
Effective - Aggressive Criminal Defense - Successful
Following his graduation from Willamette University College of Law, Jarom Bangerter passed the Alaska State Bar and began working as an Assistant District Attorney for the State of Alaska. Throughout his many years of working as a prosecutor and defense attorney, he’s tried over 70 felony and misdemeanor cases to juries, performed hundreds of contested evidentiary hearings and settled thousands of cases ranging in severity from driving violations to murder charges.
In 2012, Jarom moved to his home state of Utah and began a robust criminal defense practice focused on defending and preserving citizen’s rights. As a result of his many years spent as a criminal law trial attorney in court, Jarom is equipped with the knowledge and expertise necessary to defend clients who’ve been charged with criminal offenses, using an effective and aggressive criminal defense approach. He has extensive experience in successfully handling nearly every form of criminal charge in the criminal code.
Because of Jarom’s comprehensive experience, he’s had the unique opportunity to lecture at multiple law-enforcement trainings and as a guest instructor at the Alaska State Trooper Public Safety Academy in Sitka, Alaska on multiple occasions. He has a straight-forward, solution-based approach in working with prosecutors, court staff, judges and probation officers, securing the best possible resolution for his clients.
His trial experience also proves highly valuable to clients involved in civil litigation matters, both in state and federal court. Jarom represents individuals, as well as entities, involved in a wide range of litigation matters involving real estate, contracts, construction defects, debt disputes and personal injury. He is also trained in Alternative Dispute Resolution.
When Jarom isn’t representing clients, he can be found out in nature as an avid skier, hunter, pilot and proud father of four active boys. He is invested in his community, loves to travel and train his German Shepherd.
